Refund policy

We offer a 7‑day, no‑questions‑asked return policy. You may request a return within 7 days of receiving your subscription or item.

Eligibility

  • Items must be returned in the same condition as received — unused, with tags, and in original packaging.

  • A receipt or proof of purchase is required.

  • Subscriptions are also eligible for cancellation within 7 days, with no questions asked.

Process

To initiate a return the item, please contact us at radhimehta85@gmail.com. Returns should be sent to: Ground Floor, Parekh Building, Opera House, Mumbai – 400004

For subscription, just write an email or call our customer care or message to our whatsapp.

If your return is approved, we will provide a return shipping label and instructions for sending the package. Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.

Once the return or your subscription is approved, relax we will refund the amount with in next 10 business day.

Damage & Issue Policy

At MonkeyBarrow, we know that children’s play and reading can sometimes lead to accidental damage. To keep our library premium, safe, and fair for all families, we follow these guidelines:

Inspection & Reporting

  • Please inspect your order upon delivery and notify us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect.

  • Contact us within 24 hours of delivery so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.

Toys

  • Minor wear and tear from normal play is acceptable.

  • If a toy is significantly damaged (broken, missing essential parts, unsafe for use), we will charge 40% of the MRP of that item as a replacement fee.

  • Missing small accessories (like puzzle pieces or blocks) will be assessed case‑by‑case.

Books

  • Normal signs of reading (gentle bends, light marks) are acceptable.

  • Severe damage (torn pages, scribbling, water damage, missing covers) will incur a 40% of the MRP charge for replacement.

Fair Use Principle

We apply charges only when damage or loss makes an item unusable for future rentals. Our goal is to maintain a premium, clutter‑free library while being fair and understanding toward families.

Resolution

  • Wrong or defective items delivered by us will be replaced at no cost.

  • For customer‑caused damage, charges will be communicated transparently before billing.

  • We may attempt repair first, but if replacement is required, the 40% MRP rule applies.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
